For over ten years now, I design book covers for Coutinho Publisher house. Yalla yalla! is one of the covers that keep coming back in different varieties and I love to work on those. What started in 2016 with an owl, made from speech bubbles on the cover for the series ‘Milào’ – Basic course in Modern Greek, developed to this concept of specific animals, built from small elements, for different language learning methods. In this case it’s a dromedary, built from Arabic characters, which turned out to be a very suitable source of shapes to built this beautiful animal from.
